This thoughtful, reflective post is written by my dear friend and sister in suffering, Bettie Gilbert. Her caring prayers, deep compassion and kindness stem from experiencing the trauma of multiple chronic illnesses and pain and her response to those things.
They’ve caused her to desperately seek God’s face and learn how to rest her weariness and weakness in His daily provision and grace. If you’re struggling with your own trauma, either physical or emotional, you won’t find a better soul companion to walk beside you with understanding and unerring faith and trust in God’s merciful presence through everything. Do check out her beautiful blog.
Dearest Joy, thank you so much for sharing my post. And thank you for all of your understanding. I know you have walked through so much in this journey also. I especially am grateful today as I found out I have one more step added into this process, as I must get biopsies on my thyroid now. Oh praise God for His timing, tho, that always sees what is ahead for us , and prepares the road before us. Thank you for joining in His preparation and support my sister. May He bless you so deeply today. Hugs and love across the pond!
